In the meantime I made these dish towels for Tracy for her birthday. They were easy and fun to make. I just bought some white towels from Restoration Hardware, patched one and did applique on the other.

In the meantime I made these dish towels for Tracy for her birthday. They were easy and fun to make. I just bought some white towels from Restoration Hardware, patched one and did applique on the other.
I love my dish towels every time I go into my kitchen and see them, they make me so happy!!!! Thanks again.

I was looking at an enlarged picture of the owl and it looks like you've used felt. Is that washable? Am I just dumb--I thought you couldn't wash felt for some reason.

ReplyDeletei did use felt for the eyes. they will probably shrink up a bit when washed. . .
you can wash it, and maybe should before you use it if you're going to use it on something washable.
